JOB SUMMARY
Performs supervisory or skilled duties in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of complex commercial and industrial systems, equipment, and fixtures. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for successful completion of work assignments. Responsible for work order and preventive maintenance tracking and completion. Follows established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, performs the duties of a supervisor for electrical activities of the Facilities Department. Responsible for work order and preventive maintenance tracking and completion. Evaluates the work performance of shop staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
- High School Graduation or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Eight (8) years commercial or industrial electrical experience with technical or trade school training.
- 4 years’ experience in healthcare environment.
- 2 years in a supervisor or lead worker in the electrical field.
- Have an active Florida Electrician Journeyman's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.32 - $49.98 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
