Overview
A commercial real estate and property management company has a part-time position for a motivated Commercial Maintenance Technician for an office park, individual office buildings, and retail shopping centers.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and problem solving.
- Able to paint, perform carpentry tasks, and various fix-it tasks.
- Prefer background in commercial property maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- General building maintenance and grounds upkeep.
- Handle daily work orders for repairs and improvements.
- Perform tasks in professional and timely manner.
- Assure properties meet company standards for excellence.
- Interface with vendors and sub-contractors.
- Communicate with tenants regarding maintenance issues.
Requirements:
- Available for rotating schedule for 24/7 on-call emergencies.
- Reliable transportation and good driver's license.
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Good communications skills and professional manner.
- Be a self-starter and anticipate maintenance needs.
- Work as a part of team.
- Be prompt, reliable, presentable, and courteous.
- Clean BCI.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
