Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. As an HVAC Service Technician at West Coast Heating, Air Conditioning, and Solar, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and support.
- Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components in residential and commercial settings.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnostic findings, recommend repairs, and provide maintenance tips.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with HVAC systems, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.
- Installation Support: Assist with installing HVAC systems as needed, ensuring installations are completed to company and industry standards.
- Documentation: Promptly complete service reports, timesheets, and other required documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a proven track record of successful diagnostics and repairs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Certification: EPA certification and any relevant HVAC certifications are required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
