Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, and addressing any repair needs that arise. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and strong customer service skills to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Duties
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Utilize schematics to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess electrical systems.
- Conduct painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including the ability to work with logic controllers.
- Strong command of English for effective communication with team members and customers.
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance.
- Familiarity with painting techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
