Air Services Companyis a 40+ year old company with an immediate need for a Refrigeration Field Service Technician. We are a full service distributor of Gardner Denver air compressors, vacuum pumps and compressed air equipment. We cover Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana and Wisconsin. We service all brands, including CompAir, Hydrovane, Kellogg American, LeROI, Sullair, Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Quincy, Champion, Rietschle, Becker, Busch, etc. Industrial maintenance experience is required – compressor repair experience is a plus.

Excellent attendance, punctuality and attitude are essential to a Field Service Technician in this field. We are looking for long-term people that want to work, and be appreciated for their efforts. Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of compressed air dryers. Will also have the opportunity to work on air compressors and Piping installations. Most of the work is field work while a small portion is in house work. Factory and in-house training will be provided to develop and maintain proficiency.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
Experienced Maintenance Technician (3+ Years minimum) Good Electronics and computer knowledge Electrical experience including magnetic starters and knowledge of wiring diagram reading.
Refrigerating certification is required.
Enjoy traveling and working with people and customers as well as maintaining a clean appearance while on the job. Independent self-starter. Must have own tools. Excellent driving record required as there will be use of company vehicles.
