Airoom Architects Builders & Remodelers, Chicagoland’s premier 65 year design/build company, is seeking an experienced residential construction manager for high end remodeling and luxury homes. Strong skills and significant customer relation experience a must.
- Deep residential construction experience in custom single family residential projects, high end remodeling and renovations and fluent in reading blueprints and construction details and materials schedules.
-Strong wood rough framing layout knowledge and background in pouring concrete foundations through the trim out phase.
- Comfortable with lighting and electrical layouts, general plumbing and HVAC layouts and ability to adjust plans in the field to accommodate change requests by homeowners.
- 10 years of field supervision experience preferred with a good understanding of residential building trades and have developed a sub-contractor following.
- Strong communication and administration skills to interact within the design and build teams, including sub-contractors, material vendors and city inspectors.
- Ability to manage 5 residential projects simultaneously from sub-contractor selection to final punch list and collection.
- Ability to interact with purchasing staff, vendors, superintendents, and field crews to clarify and/or review and explain site issues and document same in project management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $160,000.00 per year
