We are in search of an experienced low voltage installation technician, with basic computer knowledge, and project management experience is a plus. The candidate must have a valid driver's license, be able to pass a background check, and be willing to travel up to 80 to 100% of the time.
ICS is a low voltage electrical systems integration company that is seeking qualified cabling technicians with a professional appearance, who are self-motivated and have a can-do attitude.

Extensive travel, up to 100% within and outside the state may be required. Traveling expenses(air, car and hotel) will be covered by the company and a daily per-diem is provided.
Daily duties and responsibilities will generally include but not be limited to:
o Install low voltage communication systems in healthcare facilities. This includes working in occupied healthcare facilities and new construction environments.
o Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot all category copper cable including, but not limited to CAT5e, CAT6, and Cat6A.
o Dressing and terminating cable trunks and terminating cable on patch panels.
o Install support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks).
o Installation of nurse call, RFID monitoring, HVAC controls, surveillance, and access control systems.
Job Requirements:
Must be competent in this field, self-motivated, dependable. Must be a team player who is able to exercise discretion, good judgment and maintain confidentiality at all times. Must have the ability to work independently and adhere to timelines. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer experience a plus.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
1+ year experience installing low voltage systems in commercial environments; prior experience working in the healthcare environment is a plus.
Proficient with the proper use of trade, hand and power tools.
Ownership of basic telecom tools and safety wear. OSHA certification is a plus.
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of network cable installation.
Strong working knowledge of BICSI Standards; certification is a plus
Ability to see colors and have knowledge of color codes (T568A & T568B). Any certifications or licenses are a plus.
