Our associates play a pivotal role in creating memorable customer experiences through exceptional service and product knowledge.
What We Offer:
- Position: Customer Associate
- Compensation: Customer Associate In-Store: $16-$30
Customer Associate In-Store & Driving/Remote Tech: $16-$45
- Expected Hours: 34 – 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Weekdays and including weekends as needed
Role Overview:
Description: In this role, you will engage with customers in-store and assist with their technical needs. Additionally, as a driving or remote technician, you may be tasked with delivering services directly to customers' locations or remotely troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The pay range reflects base pay along with potential commissions, offering opportunities for additional earnings based on performance and sales. You will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every customer is satisfied. This role combines sales acumen with exceptional organizational skills to manage customer interactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service, making each customer feel understood and valued.
- Drive sales by understanding customer needs and suggesting relevant products and services, including add-ons like screen protectors and home protection plans.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and services offered, including technical aspects, to provide accurate information to customers.
- Keep a well-organized and professional store environment, ensuring all products and displays are presented attractively.
- Utilize our point of sale system effectively to maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and inventory.
- Provide in-store and/or on-site technical support, including repairs and diagnostics, at customer locations or remotely.
- Safely operate a company vehicle for service calls and maintain accurate records of all service activities.
- Deliver excellent customer service through in-store assistance and remote troubleshooting when required.
- Be an active team member, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- A natural talent for engaging and talking to people, with a knack for sales.
- Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High integrity, honesty, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in a retail environment, particularly in electronics or similar sectors.
- Technical knowledge or a background in electronics, though not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for driving/remote technician roles.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and provide services at customer locations when needed.
- Flexibility to work in-store and perform remote or on-site service tasks.
