The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for all housekeeping. This includes laundry, ordering, cleaning, scheduling, and department relationships. An acute ability to work with people, manage competing priorities, and build rapport with people.
Areas of Responsibility and Duties
- Follow prescribed cleaning and inspection process
- Must Work on Weekends
- Observe established policies and procedures

- Motivate and build confidence of staff
- Assist in leading staff meetings
- Create schedules and reporting as directed by supervisor
- Collaborate with other departments to succeed at taking care of guests and owners
- Use technology to assist in managing the work

- Coach staff to succeed in their respective duties
- Record supply inventory at home as directed by supervisor.
- Review property for any damage or needed maintenance and report to supervisor in a timely manner
- Perform annual deep cleans of properties
- Understand the laundry cleaning process
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Reliable transportation

Working Conditions
This position operates in a professional work environment with time in the office and in the field. This position routinely uses standard cleaning supplies, cleaning equipment, cell phones, and office equipment. This position requires travel from storage and office facilities to properties. All potential employees are required to pass a background and motor vehicle check before being hired. Candidates may not have any tattoos visible above the shoulders. Smoking/Vaping are strictly prohibited within all company work areas, managed properties, owned properties, company vehicles, and within 10 feet of all entrances, exits, accessibility ramps, windows and air-intake vents. This position requires employees to follow company dress code.
Physical requirements
This job is primarily performed in the field. Lifting/moving requirements are generally 25 pounds or less. There may be occasional need to crouch, stoop, bend and lift amounts greater than 25 pounds. Normal workdays are between eight and nine hours, but overtime may be needed based on workflow.
