Requirements:
- Examine, troubleshoot and diagnose units needing repair and maintenance.
- Punch into jobs on repair orders and type in complete notes for concern, cause, and correction of repairs needed.
- Install, repair and maintain interior and exterior components on motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, truck campers, tent trailers and van conversions.
Duties include:
Installation of accessories; performing pre-delivery inspections; reading repair orders; troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges and air conditioners; repairs to fiberglass, body and structural components; and the ability to install, repair, replace and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems.
Install trailer and fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform maintenance and repairs on trailer frames, undercarriage and suspension.
Use testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturers' specifications, and Internet websites to assist in locating faults and performing repairs.
Use computerized and electronic devices for testing components.
Communicate with supervisors, manufacturers and consumers to ensure timely, efficient and economical repairs.
We're HOURLY, not flat-rate. You work 40 hours based on punching into jobs on repair orders, we pay you for 40 hours.
Must be able to:
- Work outdoors in all Florida weather conditions
- Stand on your feet for extended periods of time
- Stoop, squat, bend, and reach above your head
- Lift and carry objects of 50 – 100 pounds / odd sizes
- Drive standard and automatic vehicles
- Tow, position and back up RV units
- Drive motorized RV units
- Speak English

This Job Is:
- Open to applicants who are legally authorized to work full time in the United States
- Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
Preferred:
- RV Certified Technicians preferred, but not required
- Experience with repair and maintenance of 12-volt electrical systems and appliances
- Experience with propane systems
- Experience within a repair environment, including documentation of repair and timekeeping applications
