Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing one (1) fire protection system in a new construction commercial setting for golf cart storage/pro shop.
Project is for approximately 140 sprinkler heads and includes a 6 inch riser with 4 in cross mains.
This role requires a strong understanding of nfpa 13, as well as the ability to work with various materials and tools to ensure safe and efficient piping solutions.
Duties
- Assemble and install piping systems according to specifications and codes.
- Fabricate pipe components using pipe threader machine (ridgid 300) and roll groover (ridgid 975(.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting pipes accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Fire sprinkler fitter or in a similar role is required
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards governing pipe installation and maintenance.
- Proficient in using power tools
- Experience in fire sprinkler fitting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Job starts Dec 1st and will run approximately 3 weeks .
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $200.00 - $350.00 per day
