Jameson Electric is a growing electrical contracting company that specializes in marinas, new construction, remodels and service work for both residential and commercial. We are looking for an electrical foreman who is comfortable working out in the field, while coordinating the work and supervising other electricians. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures while running the job.
- Diagnose electrical issues and execute with a solution.
- Make sure each crew has what they need for each job, that vans are stocked and organized for maximum efficiency.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to determine the layout of wiring systems.
- Manage project scheduling and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Supervise apprentices and other team members on job sites and participate in performance evaluations for them.
- Train employees and lead by example.
- Make sure each job is NEC code compliant.
- Quality control each job, making sure every customer will be happy with the work we provided.
- Utilize Microsoft programs & Jobber for project tracking, making material lists, and keeping organized.
- Conduct tests using a multimeter to diagnose electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with general contractors.
- Communicate needs and job requirements clearly and accurately.
Skills
- 3+ years of electrical foreman/management experience
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with using a multimeter for testing electrical systems.
- Ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent project scheduling skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to electrical work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with commercial electrical from ground-up, large- and small-scale remodels to service.
- Experience with residential electrical from ground-up, large- and small-scale remodels to service work.
- Experience with marina electrical (shore power, boat lifts, dock lighting)
- Experience with standby generator installs.
- Ability to read blueprints and competence in using the NEC code book
- Great troubleshooting skills.
- Experience bending conduit.
- Residency within 45 minutes of Stuart, FL and possession of a valid FL driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in the field, this is not a desk job.
- Ability to carry, lift, and push up to 50lbs
- Capability to bend, squat, climb, reach, and kneel
- Comfortable climbing into attics, small crawl spaces, and being on tall ladders

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
