Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both multi family/residential and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach, working on construction sites to build, renovate, and maintain electrical systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform various tasks including the installation of electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems using voltmeters and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow blueprints and technical diagrams to complete installations accurately.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while working on job sites to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools is essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Experience working on construction sites is preferred.
- A valid electrician's license or certification is a plus but not required
