Precision Balancing Co. Inc. is looking to add a couple of career-oriented service technicians to our 4th generation family-owned and operated balancing service business. Established in 1959 we have been providing high quality balancing services for over 65 years. We are prepared to handle even your most difficult balancing projects. We specialize in providing balancing service in one of our 9 production balancing machines, balancing machine calibration, repair and electronic upgrades, as well as being the oldest reconditioned balancing machine dealer in the US.
We’re looking for a service technician that is hard-working, self-motivator, quick learner, with good attitude. We offer several opportunities for advancement depending on your career goals.
Job Description:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Travel Monday - Thursday with occasional Friday (home on the weekend) Travel up to 40 weeks per year
- Travel all over the United States
- Provide service and calibration on both vertical and horizontal balancing machines
- Talk to customers while onsite regarding calibration findings and/or training
- Fill out calibration and testing paperwork when working onsite at customer facility
- Complete and turn in to service coordinator all paperwork accurately and on time.
- Train operators on how to properly set up and run a balancing machine efficiently
- Train operators on the use of all electronics
- When not traveling, technician will be working on balancing of customer parts and reconditioning used balancing machines in our shop for training purposes.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to talk to and in front of people.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Honest
Trustworthy
Dependable
Maintenance or mechanical repair background preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail
Previous balancing experience a plus, but not required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
