## Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety protocols, regulations and incident investigation, particularly within the construction industry.
## Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees on topics such as construction site safety, EHS, and occupational health
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety practices into project planning and execution
- Assist with managing workers' compensation claims and ensure timely reporting
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations such as NEC guidelines
## Skills
- Proficient in OSHA 30 regulations and best practices for construction sites
- Strong knowledge of construction and general industry safety standards and procedures
- Experience in occupational health and workers' compensation procedures
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent computer, communication, written and verbal comminication skills.
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in safety, environmental health, construction safety management or related with 2 years experience. Previous experience with ISN, Avetta or similar third party contractor compliance is very helpful. Candiate must have a clean driving record.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
