Marketing Support Specialist
OVERVIEW: Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring a Marketing Support Specialist with 2-3 years of experience. The position will span social media, graphic design, and marketing department support. It is a multifaceted role supporting a small yet mighty marketing team. We need a highly disciplined, organized, and proactive personality—someone who thrives on juggling, supporting a team, being creative, and having a service-focused personality. Our client is a company poised to be the climate leader of tomorrow with energy-efficient technologies. This role is located in Round Rock and is onsite 4 days a week with full benefits. We are only seeking candidates who currently reside in the greater Austin, Texas area and can commute to the Round Rock office 4 days a week.
Social Media: Plan and design LinkedIn posts/newsletters/banners, write social captions, update YouTube page, and review social comments
Creative: Design and production of manuals, brochures, signage, data sheets, campaign posts and event promo graphics. Some photo work and retouching
Support: Work with the Marketing Operations and Creative Director on meeting/event logistics, employee events, department admin, shipping, research projects, and web content uploads
HOW TO BE A TOP CANDIDATE
- 2-3 years of experience in a role where you have produced layouts for content ranging from simple things like social posts to more long-form documents like a report (case study, white paper, etc.)
- Experience in roles demonstrating your ability to support a team with logistics or operations (meetings, events, basic department operations, etc.)
- Required: Online portfolio showing quality design of social assets/marketing materials created in InDesign showing consistent use of type and brand guides
- Proficient with the basics of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop
- Basic understanding of the marketing lifecycle and associated phases for promoting a product or service
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication, or related course of study that is design focused
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Exceptional project management skills, including concurrently handling multiple projects
SKILLS
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Canva
- Photoshop image touch-up
- Basic social media publishing systems
- Asana and ZenDesk nice to have
COMPENSATION: Based 2-3 years of experience.
