OEM Sales Manager – Northeast
Reports to: Director, Distribution Sales, East
Location & Sales Territory: Northeast region states

Role Overview:
This OEM Sales Manager role reports to the Director, Distribution Sales, East supporting the ductless product team and will assist Lennox Powered by Samsung Sales. Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales and gross profit of Lennox Powered by Samsung Mini splits and VRF systems within the residential HVAC marketplace.
Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with our clients, answering questions concerning products or services, selling products and services to new and present clients, and contacting prospects and explaining features and merits of products or services offered by utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
Additional Role Scope:
- Coordinating company product support (including technical engineering support) and services to ascertain customer's needs and increase sales and will close transactions and take orders
- Estimates time and sales expenses expected and submit to management
- Helps to provide product/service warranty claim information to ensure resolution within company policies
- Analyzes records of present and past sales, trends, and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to interpret accounts, trends, and records and report to management
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and increasing market share of Mini splits and residential VRF within Lennox Sales Districts
- Selects the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations, or any additional incentives
- Assists with and conducts mini-split and VRF training to contractors across assigned geographical region
- Establish customer relationships to ensure high post-sales satisfaction to ensure repeat business with customers
- Will coach and mentor sales representatives on value added selling of Lennox Powered by Samsung Mini splits and VRF systems
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with 5+ years sales experience (preferably in the HVAC industry) with sales quota responsibility
- HVAC License & Certifications preferred
- Must have previous distribution channel experience, Variant Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and ductless system experience to demonstrate understanding of product offerings and to think through product support that benefits the Distributor
- Computer software programs proficiency including MS Office (Word, Excel) preferred
- Must have deep comfort building PowerPoint presentations and presenting in front of key internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and execute business processes
- Strong personnel management skills and experience
- This field based role requires the ability to travel up to 50% to include overnight stays as needed
- Individual must possess a valid driver's license in good standing
- Familiarity / experience with CRM is preferred
- Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time
- Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
- Knows principles and processes for providing customer service (this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction Effective at written and verbal communication)
- The ability to lift, move, or adjust general office equipment, boxes, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds using proper materials handling equipment and procedures
