Core Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems
- Inspect HVAC/R systems and components to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R system issues
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
- Repair or replace defective equipment, parts, or wiring
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
- Follow safety procedures and regulations when working on HVAC/R systems
Qualifications:
- Previous commercial HVAC experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including their design, operation, and maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for understanding how HVAC/R systems work
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints related to HVAC/R systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC/R systems
- Experience with air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of plumbing principles for connecting HVAC/R systems to water lines
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques for repairing or replacing faulty components
- Field service experience for providing on-site repairs and maintenance services
- Welding skills for fabricating or repairing metal components of HVAC/R systems
