Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Duties
- Assist in the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems under the supervision of licensed electricians.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of electrical components.
- Participate in construction site activities, including frame carpentry as needed for electrical installations.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on various projects while developing skills in industrial electrician practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
