We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings with competitive pay and benefits.

Job Summary:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for executing electrical projects, diagnosing electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. You will work on a variety of commercial and residential electrical systems. The ideal candidate should have a valid journeyman electrician license, strong technical skills, and a commitment to electrical safety.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical Installation: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and electrical components, following local and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical problems, identify faults, and perform necessary repairs to ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems and installations.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and minimize hazards.
- Code Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards in all electrical work.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and inspect electrical equipment, tools, and materials to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute electrical projects efficiently and within budget.
- Customer Service: Communicate with clients, provide explanations and recommendations, and address customer inquiries professionally.
- Documentation: Complete accurate and detailed records, including work orders, reports, and inspection documentation.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid journeyman electrician license.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school education is a plus).
- Proven experience as a journeyman electrician, with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
