Job Summary
The maintenance mechanic position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals
Essential Functions
- Performs preventive maintenance and assigned and scheduled by Supervisor
- Makes hourly or needed rounds and readings of plant equipment’s and record all logs
- Responds to calls or work orders pertaining to plant operation
- Endorses report to relief operator as to the condition of all equipment
- Reports equipment status or problems immediately to Supervisor
- Receives and monitors oil delivery and record readings
- Makes adjustments/repairs to equipment as necessary to maintain safe operation
- Checks and maintains boiler water treatment, runs daily tests to maintain set standards.
- Operates one or more boilers and supplies steam, hot water, and air conditioning to the entire facility.
- Checks and tests water treatment, sets chemical test standards
- Blowdown boiler and column per set standard
- Checks and tests water safety alarm per State Requirement
- Records and documents gauge readings hourly as necessary
- Maintains and monitors Emergency Contractor readings

Minimum Education/Certifications
High school diploma. HVAC certification required
Minimum Work Experience
One year experience in a hospital setting

Schedule: Full Time, Regular, Evenings, 3pm-11pm
