About the Role:
The Field Foreman is responsible for overseeing individual projects to assure the safe installation that is in compliance with the scope as established by the contract documents. This position oversees and directs the activities of employees on job sites. The Foreman demonstrates the integrity and dependability of the Company by maintaining positive and continuous communication with customers and employees.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
· Works methodically and is highly organized and detail oriented.
· Manages time efficiently. Ability to manage multiple priorities without missing deadlines.
· Actively participates in pre-work meetings with subcontractors to familiarize employees with the project and quality standards.
· Develops and implements work schedules for employees, equipment, materials in order to keep the project on track.
· Actively participates in daily meetings to discuss unique characteristics of the project budget and/or design.
· Proactively identify and correct potential safety hazards. Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
· Report accidents and jobsite incidents immediately and submits a written Accident Report.
· Ensures the proper safety equipment is inspected, available and used by all field personnel.
· Ensures that the Daily Equipment reports are completed and turned.
· Monitor activities for adherence to project documents (i.e., contract specifications, plans, plan revisions, RFI’s and approved material submittals).
· Recognizes installation issues or errors and proactively address them.
· Manages and maintains thorough knowledge of scheduled activities.
· Ensures daily set-ups in to dispatch on time.
· Keep the company informed of problems and successes occurring on the job.
· Assures the appropriate use, repair, and maintenance of equipment. Coordinate the return of tools or equipment when they are no longer needed.
· Recognizes extra work and then ensures proper field documentation of the extra work.
· Prevents re-work by doing the work right the first time.
· Proactively identifies and resolves any problems and assures that the client is kept updated about the status of work with regular meetings.
· Develops new and improved techniques through better utilization of manpower, equipment and material and communicates it management.
· Spends time developing and mentoring others.
· Rewards and recognizes others for their contributions to the company.
· Maintains current certifications for CPR/First Aid, OSHA 30, Asbestos Cement Pipe, Harassment Prevention, Competent Person Trenching and Excavation, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, and any other training appropriate for the type of work being performed.
· Additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma required.
· 5 or more years of progressive responsibility related to field and construction type work.
· Experience in underground gas, pipeline or a related field preferred.
· Current and valid Driver’s License.

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
