Overview
We are seeking two skilled Commercial Project Managers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical construction management and possess excellent organizational skills to oversee projects efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial electrical construction projects from inception to completion
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget constraints
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and address any issues promptly
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
Skills
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera, Prolog, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints accurately
- Experience with construction estimating tools like Accubid
- Familiarity with BlueBeam or ProCore for project design and documentation
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of contract management processes in the construction industry
- Proficiency in using software applications like Bluebeam for document management
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
- Ability to manage budgets and act strategically to maximize profitability.
