Position Overview:
Olsen Electric is seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician Traveling Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical projects across the Lower 48 states. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical work, who possesses excellent leadership abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage electrical crews on commercial and industrial projects at multiple locations.
- Coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and all on-site electrical activities.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and adhere to company safety policies.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and work with other construction teams to maintain seamless project progress.
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and crew members to keep projects on track.
- Perform quality control checks to uphold the company’s high standards.
- Mentor and develop crew members, encouraging skill enhancement and growth.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or superintendent role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety standards.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
