Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on construction sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn about high voltage and low voltage systems, as well as the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand electrical layouts and specifications.
- Help with the testing of electrical systems using voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow all safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues to supervisors promptly.
Experience
- 2 years of Experience Required
- Familiarity with construction site environments is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following safety guidelines are essential for success in this role.
