Overview
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop skills in the electrical trade under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as a voltmeter
- Study and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines
- Work on construction sites alongside a master electrician
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
Skills
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to use a voltmeter for electrical testing
- Understanding of frame carpentry techniques related to electrical installations
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Interest in building and construction site environments
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have own hand tools
- Must have means of transportation
Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship, Temporary, Temp-to-hire
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
