Job Summary
Securitas is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SOC Operator to join our team. The SOC Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security within the facility by monitoring surveillance systems, managing dispatch communications, and responding to incidents as they arise. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to upholding protocols.
Duties
- Monitor CCTV systems and other software to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to assist in investigations.
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact.
- Dispatch communications effectively to coordinate responses among team members.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Conduct regular surveillance checks of the facility to identify potential security risks.
- Maintain clear communication with all staff regarding security protocols and procedures.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
- Strong report writing skills for documenting incidents accurately.
- Knowledge of dispatching procedures for efficient communication during incidents.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long monitoring periods.
- Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
