Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to oversee a team of remote sales representatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, with the ability to motivate, coach, and lead a team to achieve and exceed sales targets. This position offers a base salary of $75,000-$94,000 annually, with additional commission opportunities based on team performance. The role requires flexibility, as work hours are primarily Monday through Friday, but may include off hours and some weekend work as needed to support the team and meet business demands.Key
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead and Motivate the Sales Team: Inspire and guide a team of remote sales representatives to achieve their individual and team sales goals. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, even in a virtual environment.
- Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales representatives, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training to ensure continuous improvement and development.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment of new sales representatives, ensuring they are onboarded effectively and equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Set Sales Targets: Establish clear sales targets and goals for the team, aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop Sales Strategies: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
- Monitor Sales Activities: Track and analyze sales metrics and KPIs to ensure the team is on track to meet or exceed goals. Provide regular reports to senior management on team performance.
- Optimize Sales Processes: Continuously assess and refine sales processes and workflows to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Implement best practices across the team.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with sales representatives to ensure that customers receive the highest level of service. Address any escalated customer issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
Operational Management:
- Coordinate Sales Activities: Oversee the scheduling and coordination of sales activities, ensuring the team is effectively managing their time and resources. Adapt to changes in business needs and adjust team priorities as required.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, including commission structures and incentives, to ensure alignment with company financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the financial services or a related industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams being a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in CRM software and other sales tools, with the ability to train and guide the team in their effective use.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently while managing a team.
- Flexibility to work off hours, including some weekends, as needed to support the team and meet business objectives.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $75,000 - $94,000 per year.
- Commission: Additional commission based on team performance, with significant earning potential.
