You:
Live, breathe, love construction. Skilled with a hammer, but even better with people. Comfortable overseeing job sites and schedules. Able to rally a Spanish-speaking construction crew and interact smoothly with building inspectors. Obsessed with delivering quality work at great prices.
Your mission:
Manage a crew to renovate shopping plazas and warehouses. You'll be reporting to one of the Principals of the Company who started with $3,000 in savings in 2007 and now has bought, renovated, and sold over 100 investment properties. If you’re interested in real estate investing, you'll learn a lot with him.
You will be responsible for organization, implementation and scheduling of the project. You’re managing a crew and also building things hands on.

We renovate commercial shopping plazas and industrial warehouses. We are a semi-remote team, and we are growing quickly and want you to grow with us. We’re hungry to succeed and are looking for a like-minded individual to join us as a Construction Project Manager.
MUST HAVE
- 5+ years proven experience in construction
- Understanding of carpentry, roofing, siding, masonry, etc.
- Basic understanding of plumbing, electric, HVAC
- Willingness to jump in and tackle any challenge that comes your way.
- Strong direction and delegations skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills
BIG PLUS IF YOU HAVE THIS
- Spanish is a plus but not required
- GC license in your state is a plus but not required
- College or some college is a plus but not required
What your day might look like
- Manage the property renovation from start to finish.
- Finding rockstar subcontractors when not available through your existing contacts
- Orders for materials in advance
- Meet plumber and electrician to get bids
- Manage plumber team of contractors and delegate tasks accordingly.
- You might… frame a wall yourself with a helper because the framing crew is delayed.
- You might… hang some doors with an assistant because it’s quicker
- You might… repoint some masonry or replace a light fixture because it’s easy and you have the time
- Sharing a daily video to show progress
- Anything else that comes up
