We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various cabling systems. You will work with a range of technologies including Ethernet and telecommunication systems. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair cabling systems for telecommunications and data networks.
- Perform fiber splicing and ensure proper connections are made for optimal performance.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test and troubleshoot cable connections.
- Configure and install Cisco routers to facilitate network connectivity.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols while working in various environments, including residential and commercial settings.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in low voltage cabling techniques and computer networking principles.
- Experience with Ethernet installations and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems and equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to cabling layouts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
