Southern Mechanical-Plumbing Project Manger
Southern Mechanical LLC is entering a period of sustained growth and has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Manager. The goal of this position is this: Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting and implementation for projects ranging in size from $50,000 – $10 million.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of multi-family systems
- MUST be able to read, understand and interpret WIP and job cost analysis reports.
- Negotiate contracts w/ GC's and subcontracted labor
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation
- Establish project objectives, completion milestones, procedures and performance standards.
- Site visits occasionally.
- Set-up a workable schedule for job cost control, labor, material, equipment and subcontractors
- MUST be highly proficient with construction industry software such as: Procore, sage, Spectrum, Raken, Microsoft office, Excel, and the like.
- Work with Project Team to ensure job drawings and change orders are up to date, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, etc.
- Ensure projects are brought in on time and on budget.
- Interface with subcontractors, engineers, city and county officials and clients as required.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, win additional work.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, office team members, sub-labor, and subcontractors.
Job Requirements:
- Self-directed with strong time-management skills.
- Resourceful and aggressive in providing high-quality results.
- Well-organized and able to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Provide weekly job cost reports.
- Knowledge of the construction business, including COR's, scheduling and cost control, general knowledge of code requirements, ability to read blueprints, budget preparation, negotiation skills.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Xcel, Procore, construction management software.)
- Experience with or ability to learn/ utilize construction software platforms to produce job projections, job costing, WIP reports and the like.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
