Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, HVAC, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing and HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Plumber will work on residential and commercial projects, collaborating with other trades to deliver high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with HVAC/R technicians to integrate plumbing with heating and cooling systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics related to plumbing systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction or maintenance industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various plumbing installations.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems and HVAC principles is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to plumbing schematics.
- Experience in welding techniques applicable to plumbing repairs is an advantage.
- A valid plumber’s license or certification is highly desirable.
