## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled licensed HVAC technician to join our team and qualify our business. This can be a hands on role where you do the work or a handsoff, management role where you are checking the work of the plumbers that work under you. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our clients. This position offers the opportunity to showcase your technical skills and contribute to ensuring optimal indoor comfort for our customers.
## Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Conduct regular maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects within specified deadlines
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Operate service technician van to travel to job sites promptly
- Interpret and work from designs and schematics to carry out installations and repairs
- Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems as needed
## Experience
### Required Skills
- Proficiency in plumbing techniques related to HVAC systems
- Ability to maintain and service HVAC equipment effectively
- Welding skills for necessary repairs
- Understanding of HVAC system design principles
- Experience as a Service Technician or similar role
- Valid driver's license for operating a service van
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with boiler systems
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
### Ideal applicants will have the following licenses:
- Refrigeration
- EPA certificate
- Sheet metal
- Oil burner
