HVAC Service Technician
Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Beluga Air is a fast-growing local HVAC company in San Antonio. We’re looking for an experienced HVAC technician to join our team right now. Some of the duties and responsibilities of a technician are as follows:
- Conducting customer needs analysis and presenting the customer with possible solutions
- Understanding a product’s functionality and possible problems and figuring out a way to handle them
- Determining the best products to meet the requirements of a customer
- Providing technical expertise on products and/or service
- Taking part in exhibitions, conventions, and other events to help in the sales of products and/or service
- Train colleagues on basic technical aspects of a product and/or service
- Have in-depth technical knowledge about the products, their working and their pros and cons
- Sending technical specification to potential buyers along with the sales quotes
- Revising and improving technical manuals
- Maintaining and repairing heating systems
- Installation and maintenance of ventilators
- Installation, repairing, and maintenance of air conditioners
- Identifying defects in components as well as wires and finding solutions to solve the defect
- Testing electrical circuits for continuity
- Ensuring that all the system compliance is as per plans and specifications
- Ensuring that all the safety procedures are followed
- Inspecting various electrical systems used for heating, cooling and ventilation
- Reassembling required equipment in order to follow repairs
- Complying with all the appliance standards
- Locating local malfunctions

Technician Education and Qualifications
- Must complete high school
- Associate program or course for an HVAC technician from a training institute
- Attend training and workshop to stay current on the technical developments happening in the field that the company is into
- Must be willing to be promoted into sales upon qualifications
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
