Maintenance Electrician (Journeyman Class A)
Location: New Hope, MN 55427
Shift: 3rd Shift (5:00 PM - 3:00 AM), Rotating 8 On / 6 Off
Pay: $34.00/hour + $0.35 shift differential

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Class A Maintenance Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical and control systems across the facility. You’ll work closely with operations to resolve issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and control systems for production and packaging equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Train production teams on electrical & controls systems.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code.
- Maintain accurate schematics and backup files.
- Assist with capital projects.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- 2-year Electrical Technician degree, completed apprenticeship, or 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.
- CPR certification required.
- Preferred:
- MN State Class A Journeyman Electrician License.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling, etc.) for extended periods.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and dusty environments.
- Ability to work at heights (up to 35 feet).
