Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical installations for residential construction, as well as proficiency in scheduling permits, building electrical racks, and connecting electrical systems in houses. This role requires a professional who can ensure quality and safety standards on all projects, while meeting deadlines and adapting to the dynamic demands of a construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install Electrical Systems: Set up and connect electrical systems in new residential properties, including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Build Electrical Racks: Assemble and install electrical racks to support wiring and equipment in compliance with local building codes.
- Hook Up Electrical Connections: Handle final electrical hookups in homes, ensuring all connections are safe, reliable, and meet quality standards.
- Scheduling and Permitting: Coordinate with city officials to obtain necessary permits for each project, ensuring timely inspections and compliance with Austin electrical regulations.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues as they arise, providing timely solutions to maintain project schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols to maintain a secure and accident-free work environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Electrician’s License for the state of Texas or Journeyman Licenses
- Experience with residential electrical installations
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and permitting processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
