Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join their 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on our industrial equipment, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. They are interested in candidates with 2 plus years of continuous experience, not job hoppers.
Duties
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, including machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Operate scissor lifts and other heavy equipment as needed to access and inspect equipment.
- Perform electrical work, including wiring, circuit testing, and electrical repairs.
- Utilize a voltmeter and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to identify and address equipment maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform field service tasks as needed, including inspecting and testing equipment at remote locations.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Experience with electrical systems.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
