Our highly active shop is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team.
At Dalton Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, our ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial plumbing systems. This will include installation, maintenance, and repair of all aspects of plumbing, such as pipes, fixtures, water heaters, pumps and hydronic heating systems. Efficiency, focus and knowledge are expected. The ability to work alone, and as a team member, to meet the goals assigned are all part of the everyday expectations for our employees. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe threading and sweating as necessary for various installations.
- Assess plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with team members on projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment at project sites and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues as they arise, when dispatched.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and sweating practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
- Valid New Jersey driver's license is mandatory.
