The Role:

The Residential Plumber is a key role within our department. The Residential Plumber performs maintenance, inspection, repairs, and installation for residential plumbing. All job duties performed by the Residential Plumber must be performed with the department’s goals and objectives in mind. The Residential Plumber will report to the Plumbing Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
Conduct routine plumbing maintenance at residential properties
Discuss various repair options with customers
Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings
Identifies potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks
Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements
Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Maintain related records concerning time, labor and materials; maintain log of tasks performed and write job reports as required
Maintain work vehicle and ensure vehicle is operated within safety standards
Occasional Saturday work depending on demand
Additional tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

Qualifications and Skills:

Expert knowledge of residential plumbing
Drain and sewer experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical aptitude with knowledge of local codes
Ability to work independently with moderate direction
Knowledge of Service Titan
Ability and willingness to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays as/if required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Education and Experience:

3+ years Plumbing experience in Residential Service
EPA Certificiation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
