Decatur Espresso performs installation, maintenance and repairs for many major equipment manufacturers and outside sales companies including but not limited to Astoria, Bunn, Brasilia, Cecilware, Cimbali, Curtis,Eversys, Fetco, First Service Networks (Starbucks), Folgers, Frankie, French Market Coffee, Grind Master, Lavazza, Mello Joy, New Orleans Roast, Nuova Simonelli, Pavoni, Rancilio, Reily Foods, Schaerer and others. Decatur Espresso has working relationships and in some cases legal contracts with these companies. Decatur Espresso also serves numerous local and out of town restaurants, hospitals, coffee shops and other businesses.
Decatur Espresso Technicians will install, maintain and repair the following types of equipment:
Semi Automatic, Automatic and Super Automatic Espresso Machines
Espresso Grinders
Coffee Brewers
Coffee Grinders
Tea Brewers
Frozen Drink Machines (Daiquiri/ Granita)
Water Filtration Systems
The vast majority of service calls will be performed at the customers place of business. It is of the utmost importance that we always strive to produce professional workmanship using ethical business practices. Therefore the below listed items are the responsibility of and must be adhered to by each and every Decatur Espresso Technician.
Report to work neatly groomed and attired with your supplied Decatur Espresso uniform shirt.
Maintain a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
Courteous and safe driving habits must be exercised.
Supply and maintain proper tools that will be needed to perform everyday task.
Must support and practice safe working skills.
Must conduct and present themselves in a professional manner.
Must be sensitive to the customers business and take appropriate steps to not interfere with their day to day operation.
Must have basic water plumbing skills.
Must have a working knowledge of 110-250 Volt AC single phase electrical systems and low voltage DC systems and capable of using a multimeter.
Be capable of reading basic electrical diagrams and hydraulic flow charts.
Communicate effectively by phone with manufacturers support desk.
Properly prepare and invoice customers for hours worked, parts used, travel time, etc.
