Overview:
We are seeking a MEP Designer to join our team to work with our clients in the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Responsibilities:
- Provide MEP engineering designs for multidiscipline projects
- Provide CAD and BIM support for the firm’s design projects
- Assist teams with project startup, workflow and coordination
- BIM modelling and CAD drafting support during the planning, design, and construction phases of various projects.
- QA/QC issues and perform the necessary research and exploration to develop solutions that respond to the specific automation needs and demands of a project.
- AutoCAD and Revit file management
- Create/modify/update Revit families and CAD blocks as needed.
Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-Accredited Engineering program, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
- EIT Certification or PE License is preferred
- Major coursework in or related to drafting and/or architecture
- Relevant architecture and/or engineering experience
Required Skills:
- 1-4 (or more) years of relevant MEP design experience with primary focus on mechanical and plumbing.
- Experience using AutoCAD and REVIT
- Experience in completing design and construction documents in an architectural or engineering firm
- Ability to create and modify CAD dynamic blocks and Revit familie
- The ability to produce quality construction documents
- Experience with MS Office
- Effective verbal and graphic communication skills
- Effective organizational and collaborative skills
- Effective time management skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
