Position Overview
We are currently seeking an Electrician Apprentice/Helper to assist in commercial, retail, residential and industrial installations. As an Electrician Helper, you will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems under the guidance of experienced electricians.
Key Responsibilities
- Bend and install pipe, and pull wire as needed.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints to determine wiring layouts.
- Perform electrical tasks using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
- Support electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues
- Adhere to job site safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within Dade and Broward counties regularly.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Successfully pass background checks and drug screenings.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Previous experience or coursework in electrical work is preferred.
- Familiarity with residential, industrial and commercial electrician practices.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of experienced professionals.
