Position Overview:We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes. This role will involve working in residential, commercial and industrial settings and ensuring all work meets high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to identify hazards or defects.
- Test electrical systems using specialized tools to ensure proper functioning.
- Operate Bucket truck for the repair/replace of site lighting.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Familiarity with low voltage systems.
- Ability to safely use power tools and hand tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience as a residential, commercial, and industrial Electrician.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Candidate Attributes:
- Pride in workmanship, reliability, and commitment to safety.
- Own tools and possess mandatory OSHA 10 certification.
