Technical Electrical is seeking Journeyman Electricians and Electrician Apprentices for Commercial and Light Industrial electrical work in Richmond, VA and surrounding area for
Essential Duties:
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Install, repair, maintain and test electrical systems.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, bending, threading and installing wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems.
- Assist with wires and cables within control centers, distribution boxes, receptacles, switches, etc.
- Splice and terminate wires at junction points.
- Communicate effectively with crew members.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- Commercial Electrical experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow electrical code manuals to install and repair electrical systems.
- Must have a satisfactory driving record, criminal record, and be able to pass a background check.

Sign On Bonus:
· $250 after 30 days of Employment
· $500 after 90 days of Employment
