Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to be a part of our sub-contractor directory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing work meets local codes and regulations while providing excellent service to our clients.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Perform remodeling tasks related to plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Execute pipe threading and welding as required for various projects.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to ensure system compatibility.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar maintenance person role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for jobs.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics related to plumbing installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
