Overview:
As the Hotel General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the overall operation and performance of Woodspring Suites Duncan/Spartanburg. We are looking for a strategic leader who is passionate about hospitality, dedicated to enhancing guest satisfaction, and committed to fostering a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Inspire, motivate, and develop a dedicated team to deliver unforgettable guest experiences.
- Conduct engaging staff meetings and training sessions to ensure alignment and skill enhancement.
- Cultivate a positive, inclusive work culture that thrives on teamwork.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Elevate guest service standards, ensuring exceptional satisfaction levels.
- Implement innovative strategies for cost control and operational efficiency.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget, including insightful revenue forecasts and expense control.
- Analyze financial reports to uncover trends and identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize revenue through strategic pricing, upselling, and promotional initiatives.
Guest Experience:
- Ensure the hotel maintains impeccable standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Address guest feedback and complaints with prompt professionalism.
- Launch programs that enhance guest loyalty and satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to craft compelling promotional strategies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and local businesses.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to seize growth opportunities.
Compliance and Safety:
- Conduct regular property inspections to uphold safety and quality standards.
- Implement emergency procedures and ensure staff are well-trained in safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
