As the Master Plumber Department Manager, you’ll command the operations of our plumbing department, ensuring every project is executed with precision and excellence.
Your New Role as a Master Plumber:
- Oversee and guide a team of skilled plumbers, ensuring top performance and professional growth
- Plan, organize, and prioritize plumbing projects while implementing departmental policies and safety protocols to guarantee timely completion and compliance with regulations
- Evaluate plumbing systems, diagnose issues, propose effective solutions, and provide technical support during the planning and design phases of construction projects
- Manage inventory levels, and equipment maintenance, and coordinate with other departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution
- Conduct quality control audits, utilize the Nexstar Service System to optimize processes, and foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere that encourages growth and engagement
- Follow Nexstar’s proven operational processes to ensure job efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Adhere to company policies and Nexstar standards for job costing, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to continually improve service processes and customer experiences, in alignment with Nexstar’s core values.

Job requirements
- Valid Master Plumber license or certification with proven supervisory or managerial experience
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, regulations, and best practices
- Strong leadership, management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to safety standards and protocols
- Valid driver’s license, work authorization in the U.S., and the ability to pass a background check
