Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience with appliance repair. This role involves working in the field to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems for commercial clients. A valid driver's license is required as the technician will be driving a company van to various job sites.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units and HVAC systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.
- Document service calls and maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role in HVAC.
- Must be licensed and certified.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus..
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
