Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Solar Pool Heater (SPH) & Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SPH and DHW systems, along with the ability to perform maintenance and installations. This role is essential to supporting our expanding business, providing consistent work with opportunities for growth. Occasionally, you may also assist with photovoltaic (PV) jobs, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of SPH and DHW systems.
- Conduct inspections of solar heating systems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
- Assist in the installation and repair of associated equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Occasionally support PV installation teams as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations on all job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
- Provide excellent customer service, including addressing questions and concerns related to SPH/DHW systems.
Requirements
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to job sites.
- Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of SPH and DHW systems is required.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members when necessary.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Occasional assistance with PV installations (training will be provided if needed).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
