Job Description
Our HVAC Technicians perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the inspection, repair, and alteration of HVAC systems.
Scope of Responsibility
- Perform work for both residential and commercial jobs
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Perform system adjustments as needed
- Perform troubleshooting on units to assess the issue
- Find proper solutions and make adequate repairs on systems
- Create job orders, sales receipts and collect payment
- Communicate with dispatcher and office staff regarding the status of jobs and is return service is necessary
- Oversee the work of a helper if assigned one
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- CFC Universal License is required
- Must have 3+ years’ experience of HVAC service and installation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and strong time management skills
- Positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently, ensuring the work is done properly the first time
- Attention to detail and punctually is required
- Bilingual preferred but not required
Job Details
- Full-time position
- Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts
- Some Saturdays may be required
- Up to $45 an hour, compensation commensurate with experience
- Overtime availability
- Different job sites throughout the DMV
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
